Laboratory Calibration Services

When sending equipment to our laboratory for calibration or repair, please include:

1. A Purchase Order or Purchase order #.Your purchase documentation is required to ensure that you receive the correct service. Please include the service you are requesting (standard calibration, repair, any specific test points, special procedures, etc.) as well as any request for expedited service.
2. Calibration information for equipment being sent in.Please include on your PO or other documentation the following information if known:
   • Equipment Description
   • Manufacturer
   • Model No.
   • Equipment ID
   • Serial No.
   • Number of units to be calibrated
   • Calibration Interval
   • Test points required
   • Addressee of the Certificate
   • Address

Note:

Balances and scales are normally calibrated on-site so you have to indicate the location of your balance (on-site charge applies), also indicate the capacity or range of the scales so we could bring the appropriate test weights to be used for calibration.

Temperature controlled enclosures (Refrigerators, freezers, water bath, oven, incubator, furnace, etc.) are also normally calibrated on-site. Please indicate your working temperature and how many test points. Our normal fee is only for one test point, we charge additional fee per test points.

4. A copy of Acculab Calibration quote for equipment being sent in.If a hard copy of a quote provided by Acculab Calibration is available, please include when shipping items to us.
5. Any equipment specific accessories needed for calibration.Our laboratory is fully stocked with standard accessories (standard AC power cords and adapters, electrical leads and adapters, thermocouple leads, etc.) but any non-standard accessory used with your equipment during operation should be included for calibration.
6. Fresh Batteries. Acculab have stocked with standard batteries but any non-standard batteries used with your equipment during operation should be included for calibration.
